The historic spot where shuzenji's springs were first discovered by kobo daishi. a small public rotenburo open-air bath in the middle of the town center — but it's not for bathing your whole body, only your feet! free.

Shuzenji Bairin

Is a plum garden park atop mt. daruma. in february the tourist association holds a plum blossom festival. it is a 20 minute walk uphill from shuzenji temple. admission is free.

Hakoyu

Is a cedar lined public bath built in 2000 by the tourist association. also has a three story tower that gives a nice view over the roofline of the town. admission 350 yen.

Cycle Sport Center

Is a bicycle themed amusement park with pedal-powered roller coasters, a 5k bike course, a 400m racing piste and an mtb course. general admission is 800 yen for adults, 600 for children with attractions running between 300 and 600 yen each. all day passes are available. an adjacent onsen spa is available. buses run from shuzenji station.

Niji no Sato

Is a large amusement park with a canadian village, an english village, completed with train) and a japanese garden. admission 1200 yen for adults, 600 yen for children. buses run from shizenji station.
